What is the Survivor 50 cast?

The 24-player cast for Survivor 50 was announced May 28 by Survivor host Jeff Probst during a live appearance on CBS Mornings. As promised, the slate boasts returning players – the first time the show has featured vets since 2020's Season 40 (aka Survivor: Winners at War).

The cast runs the gamut from castaway legends Cirie Fields and Ozzy Lusth – both four-time players heading into Survivor 50 – to two as-yet unnamed players from the as-yet unaired Season 49. It even features two Survivor winners: Season 45's Dee Valladares and Season 48's Kyle Fraser.

What’s the theme of Survivor 50?

The theme of Survivor 50 is "In the Hands of the Fans." During the just-completed Survivor Season 48, fans were asked to vote on gameplay elements for Survivor 50 – everything from the color of the Survivor 50 buffs, to whether the winner should be revealed at a live reunion show in Los Angeles, or on the island right after ballots have been cast (as has been the custom from the 41st season to today).

Patience! Even the contestants won't know the Survivor 50 voting results until they're in the game in Fiji (where the show has been based since its 33rd season). Now, how cool is that actually?
