Why you’ll love it: Survivor‘s eight season is full of firsts. It’s the first season to feature returning players, three starting tribes (instead of two), 18 players (instead of 16), and, for showmance fans, Romber, aka Rob Mariano (“Boston Rob”) and Amber Brkich. And while all this is great, what makes Survivor: All Stars a great companion to Survivor 50 is all the heart-rending eliminations. In Survivor, you learn, it’s never fun to be voted out of the game by your tribe, but it’s another level entirely to be voted out by people you have history with.
