A fabulously wealthy boxing champ with a dark side, Hector, a fellow priest molestation victim, helps Ray on the path to recovery with the assistance of Father Romero. But the problems that Hector comes to Ray for help with prove much bigger and more dangerous.

Ismael Cruz Cordova began his acting training at the University of Puerto Rico’s Drama Department. From there he moved on to the Experimental Theatre Wing at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where he studied under some of New York’s most prolific teachers.

Since graduating, Ismael has worked in many different capacities of theatre both in New York and regionally. Among them, CHILD OF WATER (NY City Centre), THE OLD MAN AND THE SEA (Caldwell Theatre Company), LA LUZ DE UN CIGARILLO (Off B'way, HOLA and ACE Best Actor Awards), and the much-talked-about World Premiere of Regina Taylor's STOP RESET at The Signature Theatre. Ismael's career then made the obvious jump to film and television where he has recurred on CBS' THE GOOD WIFE as well as appearing as a regular on PBS' SESAME STREET. For his work, Ismael was called by the New York Times "A Chameleon onstage and on TV." He's also been cast in a variety of feature films including THE PASTOR as Netto, DAUGHTER OF GOD as Jose de la Cruz starring Keanu Reeves, The ADK as Henry, and in the action-thriller IN THE BLOOD as Manny sharing credits with Luis Guzman, Treat Williams, and Amaury Nolasco.

Most recently, he landed the role of Sergeant Holiday in the upcoming Ang Lee film BILLY LYNN'S LONG HALFTIME WALK, currently in production in Atlanta.
