Netanyahu to address Congress in July

House Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell announced that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will address a joint meeting of Congress on July 24. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, who has called for new elections in Israel, also said he invited the prime minister to speak. It is not known if Netanyahu will also meet with President Biden.
