Juventus need to get going after two chaotic draws versus Borussia Dortmund and Villarreal, but Real Madrid have fared as well as expected so far.
Monaco vs. Tottenham
Monaco didn't show up versus Club Brugge but managed to contain Man. City. Tottenham bested Villarreal and equalized with Bodø/Glimt.
Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Liverpool
Eintracht Frankfurt and Liverpool have gathered three points after facing the same opponents, Galatasaray and Atlético Madrid, with different results.
Chelsea vs. Ajax
Chelsea were defeated by Bayern in the opener, but quickly redeemed themselves versus Benfica. Ajax have no points after facing Inter and Marseille.

Atalanta returned to form in a comeback win over Club Brugge after a rough outing versus PSG. Slavia Praha drew with Bodø/Glimt and lost to Inter.
Galatasaray vs. Bodø/Glimt
Galatasaray stunned Liverpool after a faux pas versus Eintracht Frankfurt. Bodø/Glimt tallied two points against Slavia Praha and Tottenham.
Athletic Club vs. Qarabağ FK
Athletic Club started poorly by losing to Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund, while Qarabağ FK are an early surprise as they defeated Benfica and Copenhagen.
Villarreal vs. Man. City
Villarreal were nipped by Tottenham and scored a last-minute equalizer against Juventus. Man. City were stopped by Monaco after handling Napoli.
Union Saint-Gilloise vs. Inter
Union Saint-Gilloise surprised PSV in the opener and then were outfaced by Newcastle United. Inter easily got the better of Ajax and Slavia Praha.
PSV vs. Napoli
PSV were upset by Union Saint-Gilloise and shared the spoils with Bayer Leverkusen. Napoli beat Sporting CP after being outplayed by Man. City.
Newcastle United vs. Benfica
Newcastle United got past Union Saint-Gilloise after being competitive but losing against Barcelona. Benfica were upended by both Qarabağ FK and Chelsea.
Copenhagen vs. Borussia Dortmund
Copenhagen held Bayer Leverkusen to a draw but slipped versus Qarabağ FK. Borussia Dortmund squashed Athletic Club after a wild draw with Juventus.
Bayer Leverkusen vs. PSG
Bayer Leverkusen have picked up two points in the two matches against Copenhagen and PSV. The reigning champions have sunk Atalanta and Barcelona.
Arsenal vs. Atlético Madrid
Arsenal were spotless against Athletic Club and Olympiacos. Atlético Madrid fought but lost versus Liverpool and bested Eintracht Frankfurt.
Kairat Almaty vs. Pafos
Kairat Almaty have had a tough start, as they were romped by Sporting CP and Real Madrid. Pafos endured the same versus Bayern after drawing in the opener.
Barcelona vs. Olympiacos
Barcelona split their first two bouts, defeating Newcastle United but losing to PSG. Olympiacos equalized with Pafos and fell versus Arsenal.
Villarreal vs. Juventus
Villarreal conceded early versus Tottenham and couldn't find an equalizer. Juventus dug deep to level with Borussia Dortmund in a wild game.
Napoli vs. Sporting CP
Napoli had a rough return to the European stages, losing to Man. City mostly because of an early expulsion. Sporting CP breezed past Kairat.
Monaco vs. Man. City
Monaco had a discouraging start as they were bested 4-1 by Club Brugge. Man. City exploited an early red card to come out on top versus Napoli.
Borussia Dortmund vs. Athletic Club
Borussia Dortmund threw away a late two-goal lead against Juventus, settling for a 4-4 draw. Athletic Club were easily defeated by Arsenal at home.
Bayer Leverkusen vs. PSV
Both sides had subpar opening contests, as Bayer Leverkusen couldn't beat Copenhagen, while PSV lost three-one to Union Saint-Gilloise at home.
Barcelona vs. PSG
Both UEFA Champions League contenders prevailed in the opener, as Barcelona nipped Newcastle United away, while PSG played Atalanta off the park.
Arsenal vs. Olympiacos
Arsenal are on the prowl for their second victory after taking down Athletic Club. Olympiacos drew nil-nil with Pafos in a so-so start.
Union Saint-Gilloise vs. Newcastle United
Union Saint-Gilloise began with an encouraging victory over PSV in the Netherlands. Newcastle United were competitive but still lost to Barcelona.
Qarabağ FK vs. Copenhagen
Qarabag were one of the surprises of the first round, as they got the better of Benfica. Copenhagen managed to hold Bayer Leverkusen to a draw.
Pafos vs. Bayern
Pafos resisted against Olympiacos on the road, equalizing in a scoreless contest. Bayern emerged victorious in a marquee game versus Chelsea.
Marseille vs. Ajax
Marseille went toe-to-toe with Real Madrid in the opener, looking good despite the loss. Ajax were outplayed by Inter at home two weeks ago.
Inter vs. Slavia Praha
Inter took care of business against Ajax away in the opener, while Slavia Praha shared the spoils with Bodo/Glimt in an entertaining fixture.
Galatasaray vs. Liverpool
Galatasaray had a disappointing debut, as Eintracht Frankfurt hung five goals on them. Liverpool outlasted Atlético Madrid in a heavyweight fight.
Chelsea vs. Benfica
Chelsea were outgunned by Bayern two weeks ago, losing soundly in Germany. Benfica were upset by Qarabag, which led to an early coaching change.
Bodø/Glimt vs. Tottenham
Bodø/Glimt picked up a point thanks to a 2-2 draw versus Slavia Praha. Tottenham got off on the right foot by toppling Villarreal one-nil.
Atlético Madrid vs. Eintracht Frankfurt
Atlético Madrid fought hard but lost to Liverpool at Anfield. Eintracht Frankfurt are technically in first place, having beaten Galatasaray 5-1.
Atalanta vs. Club Brugge
Atalanta had a forgettable start as they were romped by PSG at the Parc des Princes. Club Brugge began with a surprisingly large victory over Monaco.
Kairat Almaty vs. Real Madrid
Kairat Almaty were outdone by Sporting CP in their debut in the Champions League group phase. Real Madrid outlasted Marseille away in their first match.
Sporting CP vs. Kairat Almaty
Sporting CP finished 23rd in the group stage last season and lost to Borussia Dortmund. Kairat survived four playoffs to qualify for the first time.
Newcastle United vs. Barcelona
Newcastle United will attempt to fare better than their last go, but the format is different. Barcelona were eliminated in the semi-finals last year.
Man. City vs. Napoli
Man. City will aim to go all the way after bowing out very early last season. Napoli seek to confirm themselves in Europe after taking home Serie A.
Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Galatasaray
Eintracht Frankfurt punched their ticket by finishing third in the Bundesliga, while Galatasaray had a busy summer after winning the Turkish league.
Club Brugge vs. Monaco
Club Brugge eliminated RB Salzburg and Rangers in the playoffs. Monaco reached the first knockout stage last year, narrowly losing to Benfica.
Copenhagen vs. Bayer Leverkusen
Copenhagen reached the group stage by besting Drita, Malmö, and Basel. Bayer Leverkusen have already changed their coach after a challenging start.
PSG vs. Atalanta
PSG will try to repeat leaning mostly on the squad that triumphed in Munich. Atalanta were upset by Club Brugge in the playoff after the group phase.
Liverpool vs. Atlético Madrid
Liverpool spent big during the summer after PSG got the better of them in the Round of 16. Atlético Madrid lost in the Derby at the same stage.

Bayern got back on track after a rocky start in 2024/2025, but Inter ended their journey in the quarter-finals. Chelsea are back after two campaigns.

Slavia Praha are making their third Champions League appearance after just missing out last year. Bodø/Glimt upended Sturm Graz in the playoff.
Olympiacos vs. Pafos
Olympiakos Piraeus won the league and qualified directly thanks to the UEFA ranking. Pafos beat Maccabi Tel Aviv, Dynamo Kyiv, and Crvena Zvezda.
Tottenham vs. Villareal
Tottenham qualified by winning the Europa League. Villarreal finished fifth in La Liga, returning to the biggest stage after four campaigns.
