The Superior Donuts frontman—who's been busy shooting the second season alongside Judd Hirsch, which starts airing on Monday, Oct. 30 at 9:30/8:30c on CBS and CBS All Access—brought all the jokes, witty remarks, and cool commentary to the Emmys sidelines.

On Superior Donuts, Jermaine's character, Franco, brings that same mix of funny one-liners and off-the-cuff remarks to the forefront.

And, it was those kind of comedic chops and extensive experience performing in front of a live audience that CBS was looking for when filling the unique Emmys night role.

In fact, Jermaine's appearance at the Emmys caused quite the Twitter storm when viewers took to his contagious personality.
