Queen Woo and her family are on the verge of assassination after the king's death. The queen leaves the palace on a secret journey to meet the king's brother, Bal-gi, so she can marry him to prevent the collapse of the kingdom.

The queen arrives at Bal-gi's castle amid attacks from enemies. But when she discovers the extent of Bal-gi's cruelty, she keeps the king's death a secret, and refuses to marry him. Bal-gi orders the White Tiger tribe to capture the queen.

The queen is hunted by multiple enemies. When they find out about the king's death, Yeon Bi and the Hae family of the West join the pursuit. Myeongrim's assassins and the White Tiger tribe attack the queen's carriage.

Noe-eum, who lost his son at Ba-i-tu, yearns for revenge against the queen. The queen barely makes it to the Fourth Prince's palace and finally meets Yeon-wu.

The queen stumbles upon Woo Soon secretly communicating with Noe-eum. Threatened, she flees the castle by ship. The queen arrives at her palace just as the 24-hour period is ending, Yeon-wu at her side. But Bal-gi's pursuit of power is not over.

Bal-gi allies with the crown prince and the Yodong army. Hae Dae-bu of the West and Gaemamusa storm the castle. The queen's time has finally come: defiant, she dons her armor and stands in front of the castle gates, ready to fight. The war begins.
