Dr. Victor Frankenstein
Harry Treadaway
Played by Harry Treadaway

More Romantic poet than surgeon, Dr. Frankenstein is a tender, gentle soul who is fascinated by the mysteries of life and death. He has dedicated himself to researching what makes something live, and has sacrificed everything for his scientific pursuit. He is also recruited by Sir Malcolm, and becomes a willing member of his solemn band. But the good doctor is playing with fire, and his research pays off in shocking ways with devastating personal consequences.

Harry Treadaway starred recently in THE LONE RANGER, opposite Johnny Depp, and first appeared on SHOWTIME in the drama series MEADOWLANDS. He has also starred in award-winning features, including Andrea Arnold's FISH TANK, Joy Division bio-pic CONTROL, and the British cult film BROTHERS OF THE HEAD.
He took the lead in the BAFTA-nominated short film LOVE YOU MORE by Patrick Marber, directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson. Treadaway's theatre credits include Ibsen's GHOSTS at the West End, and TRIBES at The Royal Court. Treadaway finished filming the lead role opposite Rose Leslie in US independent feature HONEYMOON, and BBC 1 drama TRUCKERS and FLEMING for Sky Atlantic.
