NCIS: Tony & Ziva is the latest installment in the ever-growing, global NCIS franchise. Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo reprise their NCIS roles as the title heroes, Tony and Ziva, respectively. 

What is NCIS: Tony & Ziva about?

NCIS: Tony & Ziva places Special Agents Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David at the front and center of the action. Once presumed dead in a mortar attack, Ziva is very much alive, and living in Paris, where she and Tony, her fellow former agent, and on-again, off-again lover, are co-parenting their young daughter, Tali (Isla Gie). When Tony’s security company is attacked, the family must go on the run across Europe, attempt to piece together who’s after them, and maybe even learn to trust each other again so they can finally achieve a kind of happily ever after – unconventional though it may be. 

NCIS: Tony & Ziva premiere date

NCIS: Tony & Ziva Season 1 is scheduled to debut with three episodes on Thursday, Sept. 4, exclusively on Paramount+. After its premiere, the show will drop one episode every Thursday until the season finale on Oct. 23.

There will be 10 episodes in NCIS: Tony & Ziva Season 1, all streaming on Paramount+. The first three episodes dropping on the premiere date are titled: "No Country Is Safe," "No Friend of Mine," and "Cover Story."

What NCIS episodes involve Tony and Ziva?

Tony and Ziva are major characters on NCIS. Michael Weatherly's Tony was a regular character on NCIS from Seasons 1-13. Cote de Pablo's Ziva, meanwhile, joined the team in Season 3. Ziva's exit in Season 11, and her offscreen (presumed) death in Season 13, spurs Tony's own exit: He moves to Paris in Season 13 to care for the daughter he didn't know he had with Ziva. Ziva returns to the NCIS fold (and to NCIS) for a handful of stories in Season 17. As for Tony, since leaving Washington, D.C., his character has been seen on NCIS just once: in Season 21's "The Stories We Leave Behind," in which he returns stateside to honor Ducky (who was played by the late David McCallum on Seasons 1-20).
