What is it about?
Chloe Thunderman (Maya Le Clark) discovers she has brand new abilities – but they sure don’t come with an instruction manual! The Hero League, an organization that manages superheroes, demands that her family send her to a superhero boarding school so that she can learn to control them. This decision, however, means that Chloe would be separated for years from her parents, Hank (Chris Tallman) and Barb (Rosa Blasi), and her siblings, Phoebe (Kira Kosarin), Max (Jack Griffo), Nora (Addison Riecke), and Billy (Diego Velazquez).
This causes a rift in the family: Hank, Max, and Nora think that Chloe should go for her own safety, while Barb, Phoebe, and Billy are ready to defy the Hero League to keep her at home. Instead of teaming up against a supervillain, the Thundermans are divided. Will differing opinions over what’s best for Chloe break the super family apart?

Kira Kosarin as Phoebe Thunderman

Phoebe (Kira Kosarin) is Max’s twin sister and one half of the franchise’s original superhero duo. In Clash of the Thundermans, she sides with her mother Barb and her brother Billy, pushing back against the Hero League’s plan to send Chloe away.
Kosarin has played Phoebe since the start of the original series and is also one of the executive producers of the movie.
Jack Griffo as Max Thunderman

Max (Jack Griffo), Phoebe’s twin brother, has been central to the franchise from the start. In the movie, he lands on the opposite side of the family split, joining dad Hank and sister Nora in believing boarding school is the safer call for Chloe.
Among other projects, Griffo has appeared in the School of Rock television series. He is an executive producer for this film.
Maya Le Clark as Chloe Thunderman

Chloe (Maya Le Clark) sits at the center of this movie’s story. Her new, unpredictable superpower is what sets the plot in motion, prompting the Hero League to demand that she attend a superhero boarding school to learn to control it.
In addition to her work in the Thundermans franchise, Le Clark has appeared in The Suicide Squad.
Diego Velazquez as Billy Thunderman

Billy (Diego Velazquez) sides with his sister Phoebe and his mom Barb, standing in opposition to the Hero League’s plan to send his sister away.
Velazquez has played Billy throughout the run of the franchise. He has also appeared on the series Leverage and Grimm.
Addison Riecke as Nora Thunderman

Nora (Addison Riecke) joins her brother Max and father Hank on the side that believes sending Chloe to boarding school is the best option available.
Riecke returns to the role she’s played since the start of the original series. She has also appeared in the Sofia Coppola-directed movie The Beguiled.
Chris Tallman as Hank Thunderman

Hank (Chris Tallman), the Thunderman family patriarch, agrees with his children Max and Nora that Chloe ought to be sent to school in order to learn how to control her new power.
Chris Tallman is an actor and comedian with over 80 credits to his name, including appearances on Spin City, House, and The King of Queens. He’s appeared on the original Thundermans series from its start.
Rosa Blasi as Barb Thunderman

Barb (Rosa Blasi), the family matriarch, sides with her kids Phoebe and Billy and is willing to go against the Hero League rather than send Chloe away for years.
Prior to becoming a supermom on The Thundermans, Rosa Blasi starred for several seasons on the medical drama Strong Medicine and the family series Make It or Break it.

Clash of the Thundermans isn’t the family’s first trip back to the spotlight. Clash of the Thundermans is the newest chapter. New viewers can follow along without prior viewing, though longtime fans will pick up on plenty of franchise history along the way.
