1. The Thundermans
In the suburban town of Hiddenville, the Thundermans look like any other family. They aren’t. Twins Phoebe and Max both have powers, but they have very different plans for them.
Phoebe wants to be a superhero, while Max has his sights set on supervillainy. Parents Hank (Chris Tallman) and Barb (Rosa Blasi) are retired heroes trying to keep the family’s secret, which gets harder with younger siblings Nora (Addison Riecke), Billy (Diego Velazquez), and Chloe in the house. Down in the basement, Max takes advice from Dr. Colosso (voiced by Dana Snyder), a former supervillain Hank turned into a rabbit.
Across four seasons and 98 episodes, the franchise lays its foundation here. You learn who can do what, how the family operates, and why Max and Phoebe can’t go five minutes without competing.

2. The Thundermans Return
The 2024 feature-length movie The Thundermans Return reunites the family after the original series. When a superhero mission goes wrong, the Thundermans end up back in Hiddenville, and Max and Phoebe set out to win back their superhero status. Getting there means working together, which has never been the twins’ strong suit.
At about 1 hour and 10 minutes, Return is a quick watch and the bridge between eras. It picks up the original sitcom’s story and sets the stage for Undercover and Clash.

3. The Thundermans: Undercover
The 2025 Nickelodeon series The Thundermans: Undercover narrows the focus to three Thundermans. Phoebe and Max head to the seaside town of Secret Shores to handle a new threat, and they bring Chloe along to develop her superhero abilities. On top of fighting villains, the twins are now in charge of their little sister, who gets her first taste of life as a regular kid.
If you’re wondering whether Undercover is a reboot, it isn’t. Its two seasons feature the same family and the same actors, and they continue the story after The Thundermans Return.
