4 Times Santa Dropped By The Late Show

Mr. Claus brought The Late Show a very special gift this year: Himself!

Oh, the weather outside is frightful, but Colbert is so delightful!

To get in the holiday spirit, we're celebrating with The 12 Days Of Colbert, where we'll be taking a look back at some of the most memorable—and merry!—moments from the past year. Unlike that ugly holiday sweater you'll never wear again,
The Late Show is the gift that keeps on giving!

On the twelfth day of Colbert, The Late Show gave to us... 4 appearances from Santa!

The Ed Sullivan Theater may not have a chimney, but that didn't prevent Santa from stopping by The Late Show. Along with his ho-ho-ho-larious jokes, Old St. Nick delivered some sage wisdom and plenty of laughs.

Before you put out the milk and cookies, take a look at these four times the jolly man in the red suit paid Stephen a visit.

1. The time he suggested we all grow up: Santa, who sounded a lot like John Goodman, dished some tough love when Stephen said 2016 has been a rough year.

2. The time he tried (and failed) to make Stephen feel better: Cartoon Santa thought he could cheer up a glum Cartoon Stephen by lending an attentive ear; but, instead of spreading smiles, he only made things worse when he admitted to helping Trump win the election.

3. The time he tried out a new look: Claymation Claus may not be the prettiest resident of the North Pole, but he sure does have a vibrant imagination!

4. The time Liam Neeson gave him an updated 'tude: Naughty listers be warned—there's a new Kris Kringle in town, and this year, he'll stop at nothing to deliver some cold, hard justice.
