Posted on Sep 25, 2025 | 01:50pm
An NFC showdown is on tap Sunday when the Falcons (1-2) host the Commanders (2-1) at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The visiting Commanders are coming off a dominating win over the Raiders. Quarterback Jayden Daniels, who sat out the 41-24 rout with an injured knee, was a limited-practice participant on Wednesday. As of publication, he was considered questionable to return to action on Sunday.
The Falcons and their second-year QB, Michael Penix Jr., are looking to get back in the win column – and on the scoreboard – after being shutout, 30-0, by the Panthers.
