- ➡️With the Raiders, Carroll is on his fourth team as NFL head coach. He previously wore the headset with the Jets, the Patriots, and, most notably, the Seahawks. His 14-season run in Seattle, from 2010-2023, produced 19 postseason wins, back-to-back Super Bowl appearances, and one Super Bowl victory (Super Bowl XLVIII).
- ➡️ The Raiders' new quarterback is one of Carroll's old – read: former – quarterbacks from the Seahawks: Geno Smith. Smith spent five seasons in Seattle, from 2020-2024, picking up two Pro Bowl honors and an AP NFL Comeback Player of the Year award. Kenny Pickett, acquired via a trade with the Browns following preseason play, is Smith's backup.

- ➡️ The Patriots are Vrabel's second stop in his NFL head-coaching career. He led the Titans to two AFC South titles during his 2018-2023 run in Tennessee.
- ➡️ While he's a first-time Pats head coach, Vrabel is already a storied member of the franchise. As a player, he scored three Super Bowl rings during his 2001-2008 New England tenure. Overall, Vrabel played in the NFL for 14 seasons.
- ➡️ In the 2025 NFL Draft, the Patriots used the No. 4 overall pick to select offensive tackle Will Campbell out of LSU.
