Kelly Reilly as Beth Dutton

Kelly Reilly plays the formidable force that is Beth Dutton in Dutton Ranch. Beth’s severe but effective methods, outrageous one-liners, and fierce loyalty serve her well as she establishes her new ranch and fights for a new life with her partner Rip Wheeler and adopted son, Carter. Beth takes on a new job with a prestigious ranch in Rio Paloma, Texas.

Cole Hauser plays the tough rancher, Rip Wheeler. Ed Harris as Everett McKinney

Oscar® nominee Ed Harris brings his talents to Dutton Ranch as Everett McKinney. Everett is a good-humored, weathered veteran who works as a veterinarian. He helps out Beth and Rip when they first come to town, becoming a trusted confidante of the Dutton family. A romance between him and Beulah sparks in Season 1, but after finding out Beulah lied to him about her ranch’s business smuggling drugs for the cartel, Everett officially kicks her out.

Annette Bening as Beulah Jackson

Oscar® nominee Annette Bening plays Beulah Jackson, the charming and cunning head of 10 Petal Ranch, and a major believer in the power of family legacy. She is the mother of Joaquin and Rob-Will, and the grandmother of Oreana. Despite the perks of leadership, she wants out of the ranch business and into retirement life. But after losing her son Rob-Will and Mariano Reyes, her cartel boss/old friend, returning to town in the season finale, Beulah might be pushing off her retirement a bit longer.

Supporting cast & recurring roles

Several stars have recurring roles on the show. First up is Berto Colón (The Penguin, Power Book II: Ghost) who plays Miguel, Beulah Jackson’s personal bodyguard and Oreana’s driver. Hart Denton (Riverdale, 13 Reasons Why) plays Chet, an employee at the 10 Petal Ranch and Rob-Will’s close friend. His story unfortunately ends in Season 1 after his attempt to take out Joaquin lands him a bullet in the head courtesy of Miguel. Musician Morgan Wade has a recurring role as Carol, a bartender at a local bar. There’s also the town sheriff, Sheriff Handy Wade, played by Josh Stewart.

What is the Dutton Ranch about?

In Dutton Ranch, beloved TV couple Beth and Rip head from Montana to South Texas to start their own ranch and help their young ward grow into the man he’s meant to be.

But things don’t go according to plan. Beth and Rip’s new life sees them facing off against brutal new realities and a rival ranch owner. A series of unforeseen circumstances devastates their ranch and subsequently lands them jobs at the 10 Petal Ranch, where they uncover a shocking secret that threatens their family and their fresh start.
