Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender was directed by Lauren Montgomery, and co-directed by Steve Ahn and William Mata. The Paramount+ original film was produced by Latifa Ouaou, Maryann Garger, Bryan Konietzko, and Michael Dante DiMartino. Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino, who created the animated series, were joined by Tim Hedrick and Kenneth Lin to create the story, and the screenplay was written by Tim Hedrick and Christopher Yost.
