What is the Season 11 format?

On RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 11, 18 legendary queens compete for cash, the crown, and ultimate bragging rights. To get all that, however, they’ll have to own the runway and slay the challenges throughout the Tournament of All Stars, a competition format in which contenders are divided into brackets and asked to compete in their own groups across three episodes. After that, it’s the best of the best going head-to-head till the bitter, glittering end.

How does the Tournament of All Stars work?

During the Tournament of All Stars, the queens are split into three brackets of six. The sextet competes within its own group across three episodes. At the end of this three-episode stint, two queens stand ahead of their groupmates, points-wise. These two talented queens move on to the semifinals.

The victorious duo from each bracket then faces off against winning queens from the other two brackets. After a series of fierce matches, the Tournament culminates in a Lip Sync Smackdown for the Crown finale episode.

How many episodes are in Season 11?

There are 12 episodes in RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 11. That’s 12 chances to see drag-nificient runway looks, show-stopping acting chops, and one-liners that send Mama Ru into a laughing frenzy.

What is the grand prize?

The winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 11 sashays away with $200,000, an official makeup collaboration with the cosmetics company Anastasia Beverly Hills, and a coveted spot in the Drag Race Hall of Fame.

Who’s in the cast?

The cast of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 11 features 18 sickening queens from past seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race (some of whom have also competed in previous seasons of All Stars).

Who are this season’s guest judges?

Ready to be gooped and gagged? The guest judges for RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 11 are:

What is RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars: Untucked?

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars: Untucked is a companion series to RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. It takes viewers behind the scenes of All Stars episodes to witness the queens’ (often anxious) backstage conversations during the judges’ deliberations. The drama is real. Was the charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent the queens displayed that week enough to keep them safe in the competition, or will they soon be lip synching for their lives? If it’s the latter, will they know the words?

New episodes of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars: Untucked are now streaming exclusively on Paramount+. It’s a must-watch, because if you’re not watching Untucked, you’re only getting half the story.

So you know, RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars: Untucked Season 8 is the one that’s giving you the backstage scoop on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 11. Got that? Good.

What to expect from RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 11

You’ve never seen a competition so glamorous simultaneously be so cutthroat. These queens are besties, sisters – but they will also stop just short of plunging a stiletto into a challenger’s heart to win RuPaul’s favor and snag that grand prize. Plus, every single one of them is remarkable at the art of drag. So what happens when you pit 18 fiercely talented, fiercely competitive contestants against one another? A battle to remember.

On top of the queens’ drive, the Tournament of All Stars format will most certainly give extra oomph to the season by offering viewers four battles in one: three bracket battles, followed by the final epic battle of semifinalists.

Then you’ve got the guest judges. You’ll see the likes of Emmy® nominees (Cooper Koch, Janelle James, Juno Temple, Christina Ricci, and Brian Tyree Henry), Oscar® nominees (Kate Hudson and Brian Tyree Henry) – even a Tony® nominee (um, again: Brian Tyree Henry). That’s on top of the established judging: Emmy® winning host RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley, Ross Mathews, and Ts Madison. If there’s a more star-studded show on television or streaming, we sure don’t know about it.

And if you’ve just shouted one out, well, then, is there a more star-studded show that also involves lace fronts, death drops, and breast plates? We rest our case.
