Nomination episodes
Nomination episodes (airing on Sundays) are when the new HOH (Head of Household) is revealed and their nominations for eviction that week are announced. Gameplay, strategy, alliances, and more come to light during the episode as the player with the biggest power puts Houseguests on the chopping block.
Veto episodes
Veto episodes (airing on Wednesday) are when the nominated Houseguests, the HOH, and other randomly chosen players face off in the Power of Veto (POV) competition. This gives players on the chopping block a chance to save themselves from elimination and fellow Houseguests the opportunity to shake up the game, save a friend, or keep the nominations the same. Everything from the week can completely change with the POV competition.
Eviction episodes
Eviction episodes (airing on Thursdays) are when the players vote to send one of their own packing. The episode is live and shows fans, in real time, which player is going home and losing out on the grand prize. Host Julie Chen Moonves hosts a chat with the evicted Houseguest, and typically starts the new Head of Household competition.

What are the live feeds?
The live feeds set Big Brother apart from other competition shows. The Big Brother house is outfitted with 94 HD cameras and 113 microphones that catch every move the players make. The cameras give nearly 24/7 access, only cutting out for major competitions, nomination ceremonies, special meetings, and other moments to help preserve the outcome of the show.
Fans use the Big Brother live feeds – or BB live feeds for short – to follow gameplay between episodes, keep track of new or shifting alliances, and watch unseen moments and conversations they will miss from regularly scheduled episodes.
