"Why Women Kill has had a phenomenal first season," said Julie McNamara, Executive Vice President of Original Content at CBS All Access. "Under the creative direction of Marc Cherry (Desperate Housewives, Devious Maids) and the incredible performances of the cast, the series has become one of our most streamed original series. We look forward to bringing fans even more of this wonderfully soapy dramedy in its second season and can't wait to see what themes Marc explores next."

For those who have yet to indulge in Why Women Kill, the series follows the lives of three women from different decades—Ginnifer Goodwin plays a housewife in the '60s, Lucy Liu a socialite in the '80s, and Kirby Howell-Baptiste a lawyer in 2019—and examines how each one deals with infidelity in their marriage.

Over the years, the roles of women have definitely changed; but their reaction to betrayal... has not.

So what can fans expect for Season 2? A whole new set of sultry characters dealing with acts of deception.
