Wait'll the Shorts get a load of Tyler's side-splitting set of in-laws.

Tyler Short (Niall Cunningham) and the rest of his immediate—and extended—family will welcome his new bride's parents in Season 2 of Life In Pieces, and you won't believe who's playing the bubbly blonde's mom and dad...

It's none-other than famed funnywoman Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman, her real-life (and hugely hilarious) hubby!

We recently announced that Hunter King, who plays Tyler's beautiful spouse, would be joining the show as a series regular starting in the fall. While fans can expect to learn more about the other half of Funeral Goose, it appears they can also look forward to learning more about Clementine's own clan.

Mullally is set to play Mary-Lynn, Clementine's free-spirited and extremely open-minded mother, whose husband left her soon after lil' Clem was born. To get some needed support for her growing family, Mary-Lynn turned to her brother, Spencer (Offerman), to act as both dad and uncle.

Or, in certain circles, "Uncle Dad."

Mary-Lynn and Spencer are very supportive and encouraging parents to Clementine, but the siblings' tight-knit relationship is, um, interesting.

(Like, "one bedroom, two twin beds" interesting.)

To see how Clementine's parental units mesh with her husband's family, watch the season premiere of Life In Pieces on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 9:30/8:30c. Until then, catch up on full episodes from the series' first season on CBS and CBS All Access.
