5 Passwords You Should Not Be Using Right Now: Locking Down Your Passwords

If you're serious about protecting your identity, your bank account, your personal information, and your life, take a moment and make sure you're not using any of these un-thoughtfully crafted passwords.
1. 123456
You should try a little harder. At least don't put the numbers in order.
2. password
The first person to make "password" their password probably felt very clever. Until like five seconds later when it was hacked.
3. 12345678
We see where you were going after reading #1. And nice try, but there looks to be a pattern developing here.
4. Iloveyou
And so do the hackers with a password like that.
5. abc123
While your comand of alphabetical and numerical orders is commendable, that skill is most probably shared by anyone with a computer — hopefully!

- Use at least 8 characters
- Do not use your name or company name.
- Include numbers, capital letters and symbols
- Do not use words that can be found in a dictionary
