A hungry young Assistant DA, Kate Sacker boasts an ivy-league pedigree and lofty ambitions toward public service. Her mentor Bryan Connerty recognizes that Sacker's smarts and social access make her the most valuable member of his team -- and a woman he'd like to know better.

In 2015, Dola Rashad wrapped production on the Sony feature, MONEY MONSTER, opposite George Clooney, directed by Jodie Foster, as well as Joshua Marston's currently untitled film with Michael Shannon and Rachel Weisz.
Rashad made a sensational debut off-Broadway at the Manhattan Theatre Club playing a young girl in a brothel in Lynn Nottage's 2009 Pulitzer Prize winning play RUINED. She was nominated for Tony Awards for her roles in Lydia Diamond's STICK FLY and the late Horton Foote's THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL, opposite Cicely Tyson. In 2014, on Broadway, she played Juliet to critical acclaim opposite Orlando Bloom's Romeo. She had a recurring role on NBC's SMASH and starred in the Lifetime remake of STEEL MAGNOLIAS, opposite Queen Latifah. Rashad's film and TV credits include 30 BEATS, opposite Justin Kirk and Lee Pace, SEX AND THE CITY 2, LAW AND ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT, GEORGETOWN, and THE GOOD WIFE.
A graduate of California Institute of the Arts, Dola currently resides in New York.
