4 shows to watch if you love Tracker

1. Sheriff Country

Sheriff Country
CBS

What it’s about: Sheriff Country – a sister series of Fire Country – is the story of interim sheriff Mickey Fox (played by Morena Baccarin), who patrols the streets of Edgewater, California. With a daughter struggling with drug addiction and an off-the-grid, marijuana-growing father, Mickey balances her demanding job with a complex home life while longing to become the permanent sheriff of the small town she loves.

Why you’ll love it: Like Tracker, the CBS Original drama is a breakout hit (renewed for a second season!) that features a no-nonsense protagonist who’s forced to rely on her wit and instincts as she helps those in need. It’s a show that’s equally unafraid of exploring darker storylines with personal stakes for its hero.

FYI: As with the other CBS shows on this list, all episodes of Sheriff Country are now streaming on Paramount+. In the fall, watch new episodes on CBS and Paramount+

2. Boston Blue

Boston Blue
CBS

What it’s about: Looking to trade the fresh air of the country for the grit of the city? Go to Boston Blue, a CBS Original spinoff of the long-running Blue Bloods. Here, quick-tempered Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) trades the detective beat in Brooklyn for one in Boston, where he’s partnered with Det. Lena Silver (Star Trek: Discovery‘s Sonequa Martin-Green), the daughter of a prominent law-enforcement family in the Boston Police Department.

Why you’ll love it: Renewed for Season 2, Boston Blue is a show in the vein of Tracker about hard-nosed manhunters bearing the weight of lineage.

FYI: This summer, binge-watch Boston Blue Season 1 on Paramount+. And this fall, watch new episodes of Boston Blue on CBS and Paramount+.

3. Fire Country

Fire Country
CBS

What it’s about: The saga of Cal Fire’s Bode Leone (Max Thieriot) and his team, the CBS Original hit Fire Country offers plenty of dramatic derring-do. With four seasons under its belt (and a fifth one on the way), Fire Country has plenty of episodes for new viewers to binge.

Why you’ll love it: Like Tracker, the protagonists of Fire Country are highly skilled professionals fueled by adrenaline. If you like watching Colton Shaw wrestle with the forces of nature, you’ll be ecstatic seeing Bode and his team tackle the timeliest and deadliest of domestic crises.

FYI: All episodes of Fire Country are now streaming on Paramount+. This fall, watch new episodes on CBS and Paramount+.

4. Marshals

Marshals
CBS

What it’s about: In this new CBS Original hit (renewed for a second season), Kayce Dutton (played by Luke Grimes) leaves his family’s ranch behind to join an elite unit of U.S. Marshals tasked with bringing range justice to Montana.

Why you’ll love it: With a unique set of survival skills – drawn from his experiences as both cowboy and Navy SEAL – Kayce Dutton is cut from the same cloth as Tracker’s Colter Shaw. His adventures – set against the wide expanse of the Montana countryside – force him and his colleagues to balance their responsibilities to their families with the heavy psychological toll of their work.

FYI: All episodes of Marshals are now streaming on Paramount+. This fall, watch new episodes on CBS and Paramount+.

Why fans love Tracker

One of TV’s most watched shows, Tracker is anchored by Colter Shaw (played by Justin Hartley), a lone survivalist and skilled tracker with a talent for finding missing people – or resolving the mysteries of what happened to them. Each episode delivers Colter a new client and a new mission. Along the way, Colter unravels his family’s own dark history, including his father’s unsolved murder. And while fans love Justin Hartley, they also love the show’s cast, including guest star Jensen Ackles (Supernatural).

If you’re drawn to strong-willed characters and taut, fast-paced storytelling, there are plenty of other shows on Paramount+ you’ll want to check out.
