When does NCIS Season 23 return? 

NCIS Season 23 returns on Tuesday, March 3, following its winter hiatus. 

The CBS Original drama began its 23rd season on Oct. 14, 2025. So far, nine Season 23 episodes have aired – all nine are now streaming on Paramount+

Where can I watch NCIS Season 23?

You can watch NCIS Season 23 on CBS and Paramount+. New episodes launch at 8 PM ET/PT on CBS on Tuesdays. New episodes can also be watched live, and/or on demand with a Paramount+ subscription. If you sign up for the Paramount+ Premium plan, you can watch new episodes as they air live on CBS. And no matter which Paramount+ plan you subscribe to, you can stream new episodes on demand on Paramount+ on the day after air on CBS.  

NCIS Season 23 airs as part of CBS’ all-NCIS night, a Tuesday primetime programming block that also features NCIS: Origins and NCIS: Sydney.  

Where can I stream NCIS Season 23?

You can stream NCIS Season 23 on Paramount+. When you have a Paramount+ subscription with the Paramount+ Premium plan, you can stream new episodes as they air live on CBS. Mark Harmon, who starred as special agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs on Seasons 1-19, made his on-screen return to the NCISverse this season as a special guest star in a crossover event involving NCIS: Origins and NCIS. Harmon is seen as Gibbs in the NCIS: Origins episode, “Funny How Time Slips Away“; the ep is connected, storyline-wise, to the NCIS episode, “Now and Then.” You can stream these episodes – and all episodes of NCIS and NCIS: Origins – with Paramount+.

NCIS: Origins is the NCIS prequel series starring Austin Stowell as the younger Gibbs, and featuring Harmon as the narrator. 

What other NCIS shows are airing on CBS this season?

In addition to NCIS, there are two other shows from the NCISverse airing on CBS this season: NCIS: Origins and NCIS: Sydney. Those two shows also return with new episodes starting Tuesday, March 3. 

NCIS, NCIS: Origins, and NCIS: Sydney air back-to-back-to-back on Tuesday nights on CBS, a primetime block that runs from 8 PT/ET to 11 PM/ET. 

Where can I watch all episodes of NCIS?

You can watch all episodes of NCIS on Paramount+, from the very first episode of Season 1, “Yankee White,” all the way to the most recent episode of Season 23, “Heaven and Nature,” originally aired Dec. 16, 2025. And when new episodes of NCIS return starting Tuesday, March 3, you can stream those episodes on Paramount+, too. Before Season 23 is done, NCIS will have aired its 500th (500th!) overall episode (and, yes, all of them will be streaming on Paramount+).
