Great fight movies know how to hit the beats: the early-morning roadwork montage, the lacing up of battered gloves, the underdog entering the ring. If you’re looking for fight movies that deliver these blows and more, you’re in the right place. Paramount+, the home of UFC  and Zuffa Boxing, boasts plenty of heavyweight streaming options. And in this guide, we’ll direct you straight to 10 of the greatest.

Here, you’ll find fictional fighters chasing one last chance, like the brothers battling through the underground circuit in Jungleland, or the veteran boxer going through a brutal weight-cut in The Cut. You’ll also find titles based on true stories that fire up MMA and boxing fans alike, like Anderson Spider Silva, the new Paramount+ original drama series about UFC legend Anderson Silva, and Chuck, the theatrical drama about Chuck Wepner, “The Bayonne Bleeder” himself.

So get ready to go the distance with these hand-picked fight movies. Note: Some titles require a subscription to the Paramount+ Premium plan to stream.

2. Anderson Spider Silva

Anderson Spider Silva
Paramount+

What it’s about: If you know your MMA history, you know the name behind this dramatic retelling. Anderson Spider Silva, starring William Nascimento in the title role, begins in Curitiba, Brazil, where Anderson is falling in love, preparing for fatherhood, and beginning to fight professionally. A tournament in Japan blows the story open, showing that – even coveted titles come with trouble for the young fighter.

Why you should watch: The five-episode, Paramount+ original series, which premiered this year, treats Anderson’s rise as more than a chain of victories. What gives it weight is everything around the climb: family, fame, the strain that success puts on the life he built.

4. Chuck

Chuck

What it’s about: This 2016 film draws from a true-life story that’s, well, unbelievably true: In 1975, Chuck Wepner (Liev Schreiber), a New Jersey liquor salesman, and journeyman boxer in his mid-thirties, steps into the ring with Muhammad Ali (Pooch Hall) for a heavyweight title bout. But, wait, there’s more: Wepner shocks the crowd – and the world – by lasting nearly the full 15 rounds, and even knocking down Ali in the ninth.
