Mike's actions in Mayor of Kingstown Season 3 have major implications in Season 4. While he eliminated the head of one gang, he quickly learns that a new gang has entered the picture. As he struggles against this fresh threat, he endeavors to protect his family from danger, to handle a bullheaded new police warden, and to battle back the demons from his past.What happens in the Mayor of Kingstown Season 3 finale?
So, the short answer is: nothing good (in the best possible dramatic way, natch). SPOILER-ALERT REMINDER: Okay, so here goes … In the Mayor of Kingstown Season 3 finale, a season that starts with death and destruction – chiefly, an explosion at the funeral for Mike's mother, Mariam, played in Seasons 1 and 2 by two-time Oscar® winner Dianne Wiest – ends with more death and destruction. Fitting for an episode titled "Comeuppance," Mike confronts the chaos-causing, once-presumed-dead Russian mobster Milo Sunter (Aidan Gillen) – and kills him dead once and for all. But there's no happy ending for Mike. Following a brutal and bloody shootout on a bridge between the Crips and the Russians, Kyle is arrested for shooting Robert.
