What is Tuner about?
Tuner follows Niki (Woodall), a young man who put a budding musical career on hold to tune pianos alongside his mentor, Harry Horowitz (Hoffman). But when a criminal gang realizes that Niki’s extraordinarily sensitive ears can help him crack safes, it opens his eyes to a much more lucrative – and dangerous – use of his talent.
As Niki explores this new sideline in safecracking, he grows close to a composition student named Ruthie (Liu). Will his forays into crime put their budding romance at risk?
