Nathan For You
All four seasons of Nathan For You are streaming on Paramount+. The Comedy Central series premiered in 2013 and ran through 2017, producing 32 episodes across four seasons.
In Nathan For You, Fielder plays a version of himself who visits businesses and offers their owners marketing advice. Armed with a business degree and an unusual approach to problem-solving, he develops elaborate plans intended to attract customers.
In one episode, Fielder attempts to help a struggling coffee shop, ultimately opening a parody business called Dumb Starbucks, using Starbucks-style branding with the word “Dumb” added to its products and signage. In another episode, he attempts to help a gas station increase sales by offering a rebate that customers can claim only after completing a demanding scavenger hunt.
The show’s four seasons follow Fielder as he pitches ideas to business owners, puts those ideas into practice, and documents the results. The business owners and customers are real people, and their reactions frequently determine where an episode goes.
