What’s Season 6 about?
Season 6 of Tyler Perry’s Ruthless finds The Highest at his wits’ end, Ruth with nothing left to lose, and the FBI applying more pressure than ever as they close in on the dangerous cult. Loyalties and trust are eroding within the Rakudushis’ compound as new allies emerge on the horizon. As chaos reigns, your favorite characters are barreling towards a confrontation that will leave you on the edge of your seat.
What you need to know before Season 6
The Rakudushis are members of a sex cult centered around Tyrone Luckett, aka The Highest. The cult claims to rescue women from abuse and other crises, but then subjects them to physical, psychological, and sexual torture while brainwashing their children into becoming soldiers for a looming race war.
Obedient women can achieve positions of power and access, as we’ve seen Ruth ascend from captive to Elder to Supreme Mother with substantial influence over The Highest himself. Each season includes various attempts from different groups to escape, with the latest foiled attempt leaving several fan favorites in captivity and The Highest ready to send everyone to “paradise.”
Quick recap of where things stand
After finding out about the fate of her daughter, Ruth is primed to leave for good, but not without vengeance. With the FBI closing in, the cartel desperate to get what’s theirs, and growing schisms between faithful and fleeing Rakudushis, we enter Season 6 with The Highest pushed into a corner and willing to do whatever he can to hold onto his power.
