Lille and Bayern meet in UEFA Champions League Matchday 5 action on Wednesday at Decathlon Arena – Stade Pierre Mauroy. Kickoff time is 3 PM ET. The match streams live on Paramount+, with coverage starting at 2 PM ET.
Bayern remains unbeaten in this year’s Champions League following a 2-0 away win against Atlético Madrid. The club’s tally of eight points has it in middling 13th place entering Matchday 5, but don’t be fooled: Harry Kane and Michael Olise headline one of the most stacked squads in the competition.
All this means Lille will have a big challenge on its hands during Matchday 5. The French club is winless and second from the bottom in the UCL standings. On the plus side, it earned its first point of the competition with a scoreless draw against Bodø/Glimt in the last match.
These clubs faced off twice in the 2012-2013 Group Stage, with Bayern winning both meetings by a combined score of 7-1.
