The Madison premieres on Paramount+ on Saturday, March 14, 2026. The six-episode season will launch with three episodes on premiere day; the remaining three episodes will debut on the service on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
What is The Madison about?
The Madison is an unexpected drama series that follows a New York City family into the Madison River valley of central Montana.
Called Taylor Sheridan’s most intimate work to date, the prestige drama features an all-star cast, from Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell, to Matthew Fox, Will Arnett, and more.
The Oscar®-nominated Sheridan is the series creator.

The Madison official trailer teases sweeping landscapes, and, above all, emotional moments. The Clyburns look like a family that’s going through it. To that point: We hear Michelle Pfeiffer’s Stacy Clyburn say, “Mine is not a family designed to withstand tragedy.”
Ah, and fly-fishing! We’re also treated to gorgeous glimpses of fly-fishing. And we learn, via Pfeiffer’s character, that beginners shouldn’t be scared to try the pastime: “Men do it drunk,” Stacy says, “so how hard can it be?”
Taylor Sheridan’s expanding television landscape
The Madison is the latest addition to Taylor Sheridan’s expanding universe of TV dramas for Paramount+. Among his credits, Sheridan is the creator of Lioness and Tulsa King, the co-creator of Landman and Mayor of Kingstown, and an executive producer of Lawmen: Bass Reeves.
A co-creator of Yellowstone, Sheridan is the creator of the Yellowstone origin stories, 1883 and 1923, both for Paramount+. He is also an executive producer of the upcoming new show from the world of Yellowstone, Marshals, airing on CBS, and streaming on Paramount+. Marshals premieres Sunday, March 1, 2026.
