              Where is the Masters played?

Unlike other PGA TOUR majors, the Masters is played at the same venue every year: Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. Known for its dramatic elevation changes and tricky water hazards, the course demands precision—one small mistake can derail even the best golfer. Its most famous stretch, Amen Corner (holes 11–13), has decided countless tournaments, testing players with winds, water, and razor-thin margins.

Augusta National is equally defined by its traditions and strict rules. For example, phones are banned, patrons must walk at all times, and caddies wear all-white uniforms. The Par 3 Contest, where players are often joined by family members on the short nine-hole course, is held the Wednesday before play starts.

Perhaps the most iconic tradition is the Green Jacket, awarded to the champion, who also earns a lifetime invitation to the Masters and honorary membership at Augusta National.

Who is playing at the Masters this year?

A total of 91 golfers qualified to play at the 2026 Masters, including reigning champ Rory McIlroy, two-time winner Scottie Scheffler, 2023 winner Jon Rahm, 2021 winner Hideki Matsuyama, and 2020 winner Dustin Johnson. As of publication, FanDuel odds favored Scheffler to be fitted with the Green Jacket.
