How do I find which NFL game is on in my area?
To find the NFL game airing in your area, start with the NFL’s ZIP-code viewing tool, then confirm the broadcast with your local CBS TV schedule. The zip code tool shows which regional matchup is assigned to your TV market, while your local CBS schedule can help verify the broadcast details. You can also use a current NFL coverage map to see which game is airing in your area.
Pro tip: Before you start your search, remember to set it for the NFL week you’re searching for, a la Week 5, Week 6, etc.
Find NFL games by ZIP code
Enter your ZIP code in the NFL’s viewing guide, and select the relevant provider or streaming service. The tool uses your location to show the viewing options available in your market.
Check your local CBS TV schedule
Find your local CBS station, go to its website, and scroll to the bottom of the page and open its Program Guide to see the TV schedule and which NFL game is in your market. For example, if you’re in Los Angeles, you can use the local CBS program guide to check the game and kickoff time. A similar program guide is available for CBS stations in other cities, so you can check the schedule for your area. Some local station schedules may be provided through third-party listings services, but start with your local CBS station’s website when possible.
Check the NFL on CBS schedule
The NFL on CBS schedule shows which games are scheduled for CBS, but it doesn’t necessarily tell you which game will air on your local CBS station. CBS broadcasts different regional matchups across the country, so the game listed on the national schedule may not be the one you see in your area. To find out which NFL game is actually airing where you live, check your local CBS station’s TV schedule or use the NFL’s ZIP-code viewing tool.
Check an NFL coverage map
An NFL coverage map is a visual guide to how regional NFL broadcasts are distributed across the country. It shows which games are being carried in different local markets, giving viewers a quick way to see how NFL coverage varies from one area to another. Third-party resources, such as 506sports.com, publish weekly NFL broadcast maps. Just make sure to cross-reference with your local CBS station’s schedule to verify details.
Why do different cities get different NFL games?
NFL on CBS games vary by city because local CBS stations serve separate TV markets, and may be assigned different regional matchups. For example, a viewer in Portland, Oregon, may see a different NFL on CBS game than a viewer in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, because the two cities are in different local TV markets.
Your local CBS station determines which regional matchup airs in your area, so a game being shown on CBS in another city doesn’t necessarily mean it will be available in your market.
What is an NFL TV market?
An NFL TV market is the geographic area served by a local television station. You may also see it called a designated market area (DMA). Because CBS stations in different TV markets can air different regional NFL matchups, the game you see on CBS depends on where you live.
What NFL games can I watch on Paramount+ in my area?
The NFL games you can stream live on Paramount+ depend on which NFL on CBS matchup is airing on your local CBS station. For more information on where to watch NFL games throughout the season, check out our guide on How to Watch NFL Games this season.
What’s the difference between an NFL schedule, local listings, and a coverage map?

| NFL on CBS schedule | Which NFL games are scheduled for CBS | Seeing the CBS game slate |
| NFL ZIP code viewing tool | Viewing information personalized bylocation | Checking viewing optionswhere you live |
| Local CBS TV listings | What your local CBS station is scheduled to show | Confirming the localbroadcast |

How do NFL coverage maps work?
An NFL coverage map shows which regional NFL Sunday broadcasts are scheduled across different parts of the country. To find your game, locate your city or region on the map and see which matchup is listed for your area.
Coverage maps can also make it easier to compare the games being shown across nearby markets, but use a current map for the specific week you’re watching since regional coverage can change from week to week. The coverage map linked here from 506sports.com is a third-party resource, not an official NFL or CBS map, so check your local CBS station’s schedule to verify the game airing in your area.
Where can I find this week’s NFL on CBS games?
For this week’s NFL on CBS games, check the schedule on Paramount+. It has the current slate of games airing on your CBS station. You can also visit the Sneak Peak NFL hub for matchup-specific watch guides, and additional coverage throughout the season.

Does Paramount+ show every NFL game on CBS?
No. Paramount+ streams the NFL on CBS games broadcast by your local CBS station, so the available matchup depends on your geographic market. If your local team is on a bye or plays at another time, you may receive a regional game featuring teams from outside your market.
A Paramount+ subscription also includes NFL playoff games carried by CBS. CBS and Paramount+ will also carry the national Thanksgiving Day game between the Bears and Lions at 1 PM ET on Thursday, Nov. 26, as well as multiple AFC playoff games nationally, including the 2027 AFC Championship Game on Sunday, Jan. 31.
Why am I seeing a different NFL game than someone in another city?
NFL on CBS broadcasts are assigned by the local TV market, so viewers in different markets can receive different regional matchups at the same time. To see which game is scheduled where you live, check the NFL’s ZIP-code viewing tool or your local CBS station’s TV schedule.
Why isn’t the NFL game I want available in my area?
NFL on CBS games can vary by location because local CBS stations may carry different regional matchups. To find the game airing in your area, enter your ZIP code into the NFL’s viewing guide or check your local CBS station’s TV schedule. The process is the same whether you live in Portland, Oregon; Miami, Florida; Boston, Massachusetts; or another U.S. market: use your ZIP code or local CBS schedule to confirm the game airing in your area.
