In a showdown of two of the NFL’s top teams, with two of the NFL’s top quarterbacks, Drake Maye’s Patriots are set to take on Baker Mayfield’s Buccaneers at 1 PM, ET, on Sunday. Is the game a preview of Super Bowl LX? Time – and big plays – will tell.

If the NFL Playoffs were to start today, head coach Mike Vrabel’s Patriots (7-2) would be the No. 2 seed in the AFC. The AFC East-leading squad has won six straight, including a 24-23 squeaker in Week 9 over the Falcons.

The 6-2 Buccaneers, meanwhile, are tied with the Eagles and Seahawks for the best win-loss record in the NFC. Head coach Todd Bowles’s crew currently holds the No. 2 seed in its conference; it’s the top team in the NFC South. The Bucs head into Sunday fresh off a bye. They were last in action in Week 8, when they trounced the Saints, 23-3.
