All that said, here’s a quick look at how Boston Blue and Blue Bloods are related: Danny Reagan is a main character in all 14 seasons of Blue Bloods, which produced 14 seasons from 2010-2024. He is introduced to us as an Iraq War vet, and eldest son of NYPD Police Commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck). Danny uses his quick wit (and occasionally dubious tactics) to solve cases in the Big Apple, all while juggling the demands of fatherhood.
