Everything You Need To Know About Big Brother Season 27
Getting you prepped for the biggest season yet!
Posted on Jul 9, 2025 | 12:00pm
With the upcoming new season of Big Brother, the CBS Original reality-competition series will have delighted audiences for a quarter century. Since premiering in 2000, the walls of the Big Brother residence have recorded shocking showmances, Zingbot zaniness, twin twists – making a show so remarkable that even a Survivor legend (and Survivor 50 contestant) has clamored for a housekey (hello, Cirie Fields!). Through it all, host Julie Chen Moonves has guided Houseguests and viewers through the ins and outs of the Big Brother world, one in which cameras and microphones are trained on the competitors 24/7. With so much surveillance, there’s no way to miss a single moment of drama … or hilarity.
And if there was any shred of drama left missed, there certainly isn’t this coming season. A big anniversary means bigger episodes, plus a lot more content. Want to know when and where to watch Big Brother Season 27, as well as past seasons and additional Big Brother material? Well, we’ve got eyes everywhere, and trust us: Our intel is solid. Read on …

To commemorate Big Brother’s silver anniversary, Big Brother Season 27 will offer up the most original hours of programming since the show's series premiere season back in 2000. This means more Big Brother action per week, more twists and turns per episode, and - perhaps most exciting - an expanded Big Brother universe, namely in the form of Big Brother: Unlocked, a new show to be hosted by three (as yet unnamed) Big Brother fan favorites.
Featuring surprise guests, exclusive interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage from the Big Brother house, Big Brother: Unlocked promises to provide insight and expertise on Season 27 gameplay. Big Brother: Unlocked is scheduled to premiere Friday, July 25. After, a new episode will drop every other Friday through Sept. 26. All episodes of Big Brother: Unlocked will air on CBS, and stream on Paramount+.

High competition scores, savvy alliances, and the gift of gab can lessen one’s chance of being on the chopping block – temporarily, anyway. Ultimately, each player will be sent packing until only two are left standing.
A panel of evicted Houseguests becomes the Jury. Jurors are sequestered in their own residence, apart from the Big Brother house. To help its panelists determine which finalist should take home the grand prize, the Jury receives footage of the events and competitions taking place within the Big Brother house. Prior to casting their final votes, the Jurors hear the finalists make closing arguments. The Houseguest who earns the most Jury votes wins. We’re glad you asked! You can watch all seasons of Big Brother on Paramount+. As of publication, there are 26 seasons ready for you to start binge-watching today.
