With its searing portrait of power, money, ambition amid the oil rigs of West Texas, Landman has become a streaming obsession. And befitting a hit show that recently wrapped its second season, the Paramount+ original drama series, co-created by Taylor Sheridan and starring Oscar® winner Billy Bob Thornton, was renewed for a third season

And while that’s all great news for big Landman fans, there’s just one thing: Big Landman fans need something else to watch (while they await more new episodes of Landman, of course).

We mean, sure, you could – and can! – binge-watch Landman Season 1 and Season 2 (all episodes now streaming exclusively on Paramount+, as we’re fond of pointing out), but what about after? Is there streaming life beyond Tommy, Angela, Cami, and the rest of the extended Norris/M-Tex families?

Yes.

We’ve curated a list of shows that, based on tone, themes, and storytelling styles, we think should add to your watch list. And don’t worry: Like Landman, all of our recommended shows are streaming now on Paramount+. So, read on, and find out what to watch if you love Landman.

Why fans love Landman

Landman is defined by high-stakes drama set against the backdrop of oil fields, and boasting top-notch actors, from Thornton to Oscar® nominee Demi Moore, Oscar® nominee Andy Garcia, Ali Larter, and more, who bring their characters to messy, memorable life. In short: It’s a prestige drama – and it’s addictive.

Top shows to watch if you love Landman

1. Mayor of Kingstown

Jeremy Renner as Mike McLusky in Mayor of Kingstown
Paamount+

What is it? From Oscar® nominee Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon comes this Paramount+ original crime drama series, set in Kingstown, Michigan, an unforgiving place where the principal business is incarceration. As Kingstown’s de facto mayor, Mike McLusky (Oscar® nominee Jeremy Renner) fights to maintain order between prisoners and guards, and between cops and criminals. He’s got the resume for the job: Not only does Mike hail from a family of local power brokers, he’s a former inmate himself.

Why you’ll love it: Like Billy Bob Thornton’s Tommy Norris in Landman, Renner’s Mike McLusky sits atop a pressure cooker that’s always about to explode (and frequently does). The heat on Mike ratchets up in Season 4, when a new warden-slash-adversary comes to town. Oh, and the star playing the warden? Emmy® winner Edie Falco (The Sopranos, Nurse Jackie).

FYI: Mayor of Kingstown has been renewed for a fifth – and final – season, with Renner and Falco set to return. There’s no better time to start a binge-watch. All episodes are now streaming, exclusively on Paramount+

2. Tulsa King

Sylvester Stallone as Dwight "The General" Manfred in Tulsa King
Paramount+

What is it? This Taylor Sheridan-created Paramount+ original series follows a New York mafia capo, Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Oscar® nominee Sylvester Stallone), who, after 25 years in prison, is exiled to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Cast aside, but never to be counted out, Dwight establishes a new criminal empire in his new home base.

Why you’ll love it: Called “one of the best gangster TV shows ever” by Collider, Tulsa King offers plenty of wide-open vistas, a cast of memorable characters – including Bodhi (Martin Starr), the local marijuana dealer turned Dwight associate, Mitch (Garret Hedlund), the bar owner turned Dwight lieutenant, and horse-ranch owner Margaret Devereaux (Emmy® winner Dana Delaney) – and more than a few laughs. Remind you of a show called Landman? We thought so.

Renewed for a fourth season, all episodes of Tulsa King are now streaming exclusively on Paramount+.

3. Lioness

Lioness
Paramount+

What is it? Based on a real-life U.S. military program, this espionage thriller from creator Taylor Sheridan follows Joe McNamara (Zoe Saldaña) as she tries to keep her personal life afloat while working as a CIA operative – no easy feat.

Why you’ll love it: Fierce performances make this show a riveting watch, and the star power is something else. Season 2 alone starred Saldaña, Nicole Kidman, and Morgan Freeman, Oscar® winners all. Lioness has been renewed for a third season.

4. Tracker

Justin Hartley as Colter Shaw in Tracker
CBS

What is it? One of TV’s biggest hits, the CBS Original drama follows Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley), a lone-wolf survivalist-manhunter with a haunted past who uses his skills and instincts to find the missing, and collect rewards.

Why you’ll love it: Two words: Justin. Hartley. We’ll follow him – and Colter Shaw – anywhere. Also, in Landman fashion, Tracker is fueled by character-driven drama, and gripping family conflict.

5. MobLand

Pierce Brosnan as Conrad Harrigan & Helen Mirren as Maeve Harrigan in MobLand
Paramount+

What is it? In this Paramount+ original drama from executive producer Guy Ritchie (Sherlock Holmes, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels), all-out warfare erupts between two London crime families – the Harrigans and the Stevensons.

The show, which premiered in 2025, has been renewed for a second season.

Why you’ll love it: Harry Da Souza (Oscar® nominee Tom Hardy), the fixer for the Harrigans, is a world-weary professional managing a high-stakes struggle between the wealthy and the working class. If you think it sounds like Harry would find a kindred spirit in Landman‘s Tommy Norris, we think you’re right.

All episodes of MobLand, also starring Pierce Brosnan and Oscar® winner Helen Mirren, are now streaming exclusively on Paramount+.
