School Spirits Renewed For Season 4 On Paramount+

Paramount+ has renewed School Spirits for a fourth season. The news comes just weeks after the hit Paramount+ original drama series closed out Season 3. With so many questions brought up in that fiery blaze of a season finale, “Dawn of the Deb,” we’re excited to see how all of the new unfinished business plays out in School Spirits Season 4.

A premiere date for School Spirits Season 4 has not been announced. Like a portal to another plane, we know the date exists, but we don’t know exactly when… yet.

What we know about School Spirits Season 4

Early details on School Spirits Season 4, including when production starts, and storyline details, have not been released. But if you’ve seen School Spirits Season 3 – especially the finale, “Dawn of the Deb,” – then you’re probably guessing (or hoping!) we’ll find out what happens to Maddie (Peyton List) after her mom, Sandra (Maria Dizzia), is possessed by the evil spirit of Van Heidt. Also, what’s become of Dave, Dawn, Wally, and Janet? Season 4 can’t come soon enough.

What is School Spirits about?

School Spirits follows Maddie (List), a Split River High School student who finds herself trapped in a liminal space between life and death, where the only living being she can communicate with is her best friend, Simon (Kristian Ventura). On the supernatural side of things, she meets a number of lost souls who help each other solve their morbid mysteries. With help, she pieces together a path back to the land of the living.

Each season finds Maddie and her pals digging into the secrets of their school – specifically the sheer number of deaths on campus. But the deeper they go, the darker things become.
