What is NCIS: New York about
In NCIS: New York, Special Agent Sam Hanna (LL COOL J) returns to his hometown of New York City after the events of NCIS: Los Angeles. He joins the newly established New York Field Office of NCIS and is partnered with Special Agent Nick Schaeffer (Scott Caan).
The team’s mission is to protect one of the country’s busiest ports and to investigate naval and national security crimes. New York City itself will play a major role in the show, which is shot on location in New York.
What happens in the Season 1 premiere?
Warning: Minor spoilers ahead! After years of special assignments and covert ops, NCIS Special Agent Sam Hanna (LL COOL J) returned to his hometown of New York City to take on a new mission: find out the truth about what happened to his friend. When Sam’s pal and Navy reservist Jack Halloway is found dead, Sam requests permission from Assistant Special Agent-in-Charge Robyn Wells (Jennifer Beals) to investigate his friend’s death.
To give him help so he’s not going at it alone, Robyn pairs Sam with NCIS Special Agent Nick Schaeffer (Scott Caan), who introduces him to the rest of the team: clean-cut Wyatt Sellers (Shane Harper), bright-eyed Addy Ross (Jacqueline Byers), and hacker-turned-computer wiz Sean Sullivan (Devin Druid). As the team investigates Jack’s death, they work together to gather key information that can help find the culprits.
