By the looks of things from the Dutton Ranch teaser, Yellowstone Ranch alums Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) are about to learn that everything really is bigger in Texas – including trouble.

The video shows Beth and Rip encounter danger at just about every turn – from death to true Western showdowns.

We also get a glimpse of Oscar® nominee Ed Harris as Everett McKinney. And in the trailer’s tense climax, Beth sits face to face with Beulah Jackson ( Oscar® nominee Annette Bening) discussing the beauty and frailty of a family’s legacy.

Dutton Ranch premieres on Paramount+ on Friday, May 15, 2026. The first two episodes launch on premiere day, followed by one new episode every week on Fridays through the Season 1 finale. In all, there will be nine Season 1 episodes.

What is Dutton Ranch about?

In Dutton Ranch, Beth (Reilly) and Rip (Hauser) leave the world they know in Montana to take on South Texas. The story picks up right where Yellowstone left off, and is based on characters created by Dutton Ranch executive producers Taylor Sheridan and John Linson.

Beth and Rip start their own ranch with the goal of helping Carter (Finn Little) grow into the man he’s meant to be. But their new reality is a brutal one, as they collide with harsh conditions, deep roots, and a rival ranch owner (played by Oscar® nominee Annette Bening) who refuses to back down.
