CBS' latest year of golf began with live coverage of the third and final rounds of January's Farmers Insurance Open, and it'll keep delivering live play, in-depth analysis, and panoramic course views through more than a dozen events – all the way up to August's Wyndham Championship.

How long does the 2025 PGA TOUR run?

The 2025 PGA TOUR runs year-round, with tournaments from January to December. The first event of the year was The Sentry, held Jan. 2-5, in Maui, Hawaii.

The Sentry was also the first of 39 events this year in the PGA TOUR's FedExCup season. Now in its 19th edition, the FedExCup is a points competition that aims to cull the field to the TOUR's top 70 golfers, and asks them to compete in the FedExCup Playoffs, with the winner of that test claiming the title of FedExCup Champion (and sinking a cool $25 million). Tournaments with FedExCup points up for grabs in 2025 include the Masters and the PGA Championship.

The PGA TOUR is also highlighted by Signature Events. Signature Events are signature because they offer bigger purses, and a larger possible pool of FedExCup points than other events on the PGA TOUR circuit. This year, there are eight Signature Events. CBS Sports is set to present live, weekend coverage of six of the eight Signature Events, including the Travelers Championship.

When is the 2025 Masters?

The 2025 Masters is scheduled to run from Thursday, April 10, through Sunday, April 13, at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. Scottie Scheffler is the defending champion. (He also won the tournament in 2022.) While the fabled Masters is not a PGA TOUR co-sponsored event, it appears on the PGA TOUR schedule, and is worth up to 750 FedExCup points in this year's FedExCup season. This year, CBS Sports is scheduled to present 14 hours of live weekend Masters play across CBS and Paramount+ (streaming with the Paramount+ Premium plan only), as well as additional live feeds from all four days of the event, from Thursday-Sunday, available to watch on Paramount+ (all plans), CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports app.

The Masters is considered one of men's golf's four major events. The other majors are the PGA Championship, the U.S. Open, and the Open Championship. Like the Masters, the PGA Championship appears on the PGA TOUR schedule, but is not a PGA TOUR co-sponsored event. And as with the Masters, CBS Sports is scheduled to present live coverage of the PGA Championship that'll air on CBS, and stream on Paramount+ with the Paramount+ Premium plan only.
