An attorney representing Dr. Satyabrata Chatterjee and Dr. Ashwini Anand explains why the two cardiologists agreed to pay $380,000 to resolve allegations of fraud, admitting no wrongdoing.

Dr. Satyabrata Chatterjee and Dr. Ashwini Anand jointly operated Cumberland Clinic in the London, Kentucky area. In a 2011 whistleblower suit, it was alleged that they entered an agreement with St. Joseph Hospital, in London Kentucky, and that they profited from alleged unnecessary cardiac procedures.
