Mandy Patinkin Joins The Cast Of The Good Fight Season 5
Mandy Patinkin will appear as Hal Wackner in The Good Fight on Paramount+.

It's official. Mandy Patinkin is now not only the internet sensation no one saw coming, but he has also joined the cast of the Paramount+ Original Series The Good Fight for Season 5! Rejoice!

Patinkin will play Hal Wackner, a layman with no legal training who spontaneously decides to open a court in the back of a copy shop. Against all odds, the court catches on and the team at Reddick, Boseman & Lockhart find themselves contending with judgements that mean nothing legally, but are honored by much of the entertained public.
"We are the biggest fans of Mandy's stage, screen, and now YouTube work, so we couldn't be more excited for him to play Wackner," said Robert and Michelle King, series Co-Creators, Showrunners and Executive Producers. "We only worry that he'll have less time to do his fantastic work on YouTube."
His appearance on The Good Fight is only the latest addition to Patinkin's long career. He has been nominated for several Emmy and Golden Globe awards and won one of each for his work in television, including on SHOWTIME's Homeland and CBS' Chicago Hope. His many films incude Wonder, Life Itself, Wish I Was Here, Yentl, Daniel, Ragtime, Dick Tracy, and The Princess Bride. Patinkin also received a Tony award for his work in Evita and received another nomination for his role as George Seurat in Sondheim's Sunday in the Park With George.
