One evening, during a monthly dinner party for a group of friends, one of the friends, Santiago, collapses and is rushed to the hospital. There, he is given a terrible diagnosis: he has an malignant brain tumor. The news affects them all. Santiago is forced to think about the things he wishes to do or accomplish before it is too late. He inspires his friends to do the same, encouraging them to think about what they want to do with their lives “as if they were going to die tomorrow”.
