Andreas Cornelis van Kuijk, better known as Tom Parker, took his stage name from the enlistment officer who performed his U.S. Army interview. Parker served for two years in the 64th Reigment of the Coast Artillery at Fort Shafter in Hawaii.

Dr. Patricia Bragg, the impersonator on a scooter, is the daughter of Dr. Paul C. Bragg, founder of the eponymous health food line.

Peter Dobson, who plays Lane Collins, also portrayed a certain hip-shaking rock star in “Forrest Gump.”

Johnny Valentine, who plays the kung fu impersonator, is Bruno Mars’ uncle. Mars, inspired by his uncle, was the youngest Presley impersonator ever at the age of four.

Calico Cooper, who plays Jane Miller, is the daughter of rocker Alice Cooper.

Three sunburst costumes were sewn for this episode worn by Lane Collins and Adrian Ivanovich. Additional jumpsuits were made, purchased, and rented for impersonators in various scenes throughout the episode. Costume design, including application of rhinestones, rim sets, and cabochons, took roughly twenty five days from concept through execution.

The episode's final shootout scene topples with nearly two hundred extras.
